Introduction to Wright Library

Summon is a discovery system that allows you to search the library catalog and many databases simultaneously. It is the default method of searching Wright Library's collections and is the platform behind the large search bar on the Wright Library homepage.

In addition to searching the library catalog as part of Summon, you can search the catalog on its own. The catalog includes print books and journals, plus other physical materials. Because the catalog includes fewer items than Summon, it can give more targeted results, which are useful if you are looking for a specific item.
