Each year, the PCUSA partners with Creation Justice Ministries to offer Christian education materials to equip faith communities to protect, restore, and more rightly share God’s creation. In 2024, the theme, Plastic Jesus-Real Faith in a Synthetic World is designed to help congregations think more deeply about the ways that plastics impact our lives and God’s creation. It is also intended to equip people of faith to take actions to address this epidemic in faithful and practical ways.

Flora, Fauna, & Mysteriana presents viewers with visual evidence of how theological and biblical studies overlap and intersect with the natural world.

Starting May 4, 2022, New Jersey retail stores, grocery stores and food service businesses may not provide or sell single-use plastic carryout bags and polystyrene foam food service products. Single-use paper carryout bags are allowed to be provided or sold, except by grocery stores equal to or larger than 2500 square feet, which may only provide or sell reusable carryout bags. After November 4, 2021, plastic straws may be provided only upon the request of the customer.

The Theological Ecological Initiative is a student organization @princetonseminary that bears witness to God’s call for responsible stewardship of the earth. We hope to create inclusive opportunities for education, advocacy, and action which address ecological concerns and environmental ethics.
